A long history, deep roots.

The company in charge of the store has a long history dating back to 1820, when the great-great-great-great-grandfather founded a horse trading company in Smyrna, just before the start of the Greek War of Liberation in 1821. The years and the wars followed one another and came the war of 1920 with the resulting exchanges of Greek and Turkish populations. The great-grandfather "had to move" from Smyrna to Chalkida where he recreated a horses, fruits and vegetables and coffees trading company. This activity lasted until 1940. After the war, only the fruits and vegetables and coffees trading company continued to exist until 1975. It was closed at the time when my grandmother and then my paternal grandfather left us for a better world. The company in its current configuration was established (re-created) in the 2010s and is now focused on trading coffees, teas, chocolates and other coffee, tea and chocolate related products.
