deep roots
Our story begins in 1820, when a family trading company was founded in Smyrna. The 1920 population exchange brought the family to Chalkida, where they turned to trading coffee, fruit and vegetables — an activity that continued until 1975. The company was recreated in the 2010s, now focused on coffee, tea and chocolate — in partnership with Kafekopteia Loumidis, the same family who have been making coffee without interruption since 1920, alongside carefully selected labels you won't find elsewhere.

In the heart of Chalkida's pedestrian street
Our shop sits right in the middle of the main pedestrian street — a human-scale town, with plenty of parking nearby and easy car access for carrying your purchases.
